Following the success of our first Wilmslow Summer 10K, join us for our second Wilmslow Summer 10K on Sunday 10th July 2022!
Starting in the town centre of Wilmslow this one lap course is perfect for fast times, running through scenic country roads and finishing on the outskirts of Wilmslow Town Centre.
The race is licenced by UKA race licence 2022-42683.

We will close entries as soon as we reach our limit or on Midnight the night before the race.
When the race sells out, we do not operate an official waiting list for this event, nor will there be any entries on the day. Please enter ASAP to avoid disappointment.
Course
The course offers a town centre start with the fantastic atmosphere you would expect in a town centre, passing through the leafy residential streets of Wilmslow followed by the perfect mix of flat running and countryside scenery. The lightening quick first 5K sets you up perfectly for a personal best attempt. Save some strength for just one hill within the 8th kilometre!
This race is ran on fully closed roads. The course has been measured and is certified to be an accurate 10K course | course number 18/563.

Eco Water
In a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint ♻ and do our bit to save the planet 🌍, we have introduced a bring your own water bottle (pre-filled) to place at the finish area for the end of the race. Completely optional, but every person who brings their own bottle of water is helping to save the planet one small step at a time.
Bottled water will be provided. We do use a responsible supplier for our water (as well as being ZERO to landfill), their bottles are made out of 51% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable.
Transfers
Transfers can take place until Midnight the night before the race. It is imperative that you do NOT give your number to someone else.
If you are unable to make it on the day, for whatever reason, we would love for you to still enjoy your own version of a race day, and earn one of our iconic medals, by participating virtually. Transfer your entry to the virtual option via your confirmation email or Nifty entries account and click on 'transfer to another event'. You will have an extra month from the day of the race (10th July) to complete your 10k and results can be submitted up until the 17th of August. If you are not already entered into the Wilmslow Summer 10k and would prefer to participate virtually, entries are £10 and you can enter.
