This race information email includes everything you need to know about the race.

Please ensure you are prepared, warmed up and on the start line by 9:15 AM!

Close to the start area
Parking is not marshalled or controlled by Run North West, so please park up considerately. Please arrive early to find a space and avoid congestion.The public car parks in knutsford are chargeable, so please pay accordingly. There is also plenty of on-street parking but please be mindful of residents.
Where possible please car share and please arrive early to avoid any road closures and congestion.

NUMBER COLLECTION
Race numbers are now available for advance collection from our brand new Run North West store! (1 Kings Close, Wilmslow, SK9 5EB) or can be picked up on the morning of the race at the start area (Wallwood, Tatton Street. WA16 6AE - please look for the RNW Gazebo's).
You can also pick up family, friends and running club numbers in advance, just make sure you have their date of birth to hand. Please note we do not post numbers out to help reduce the significant amount of waste this creates and do our bit to help the planet.

OPTIONAL T-SHIRT
Any t-shirts that have been pre-purchased will be available for pick up on race day from race HQ , you can collect these before or after the race. Please note t-shirts are pre-order only and won't be available to buy on the day. If you are unsure if you have ordered a t-shirt please check the start list HERE.
MUSIC PLAYERS/HEADPHONES
Bottled water will be provided as usual, for anyone who doesn't bring their own. We do use a responsible supplier for our water (as well as being ZERO to landfill) their bottles are made out of recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable. Water will be available at the half-way point of the race and at the finish line.
It's important that you either hand your empty bottles back to us before you leave the finish area or take the bottle home with you to recycle.
First aid is situated at various points along the course. Should you feel unwell during the race please let your nearest marshal know so we can arrange for medics to get to you as soon as possible. If you come across anyone injured or in distress, please report it to the nearest marshal who will be in contact with our event team and our first aid providers. First aid is also available at the start and finish areas.
It is incredibly important to also fill in your personal details section on the reverse of your race number. This greatly assists the medical staff, should you require first aid or medical treatment!
Bag drop is available at Race HQ, please be aware that this will be outside so please leave any valuable belongings in your car where possible!
TOILETS
There will be ample portable toilet facilities near the start area (clearly signed) & more toilets available at Egerton Youth Club at the finish area.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Our race day pictures will be free to download and linked to your results as soon as possible after the event. A link can be found on our EVENT PAGE. You can also use the new photo recognition technology to find your pictures.
Timing and results will be available on our EVENT PAGE as soon as you finish, simply click on the link. If you entered your mobile number into your entry details you should receive a text as you cross the finish line.
After the results are published, if you spot any issues or errors please contact Nifty Entries our results provider by clicking on the “query a result button”
PRIZES
Top 3 Male and Female prizes will be presented straight after the race and will be based on gun times. Vet prizes will be sent out via email and based on chip times.
Our wonderful volunteers have given up their free time to come and help us on race day, please give them a smile or thank you when you see them! If you would like to volunteer at one of our events, please email

NUMBERS
Numbers must be attached to the front of your vest, please do not fold/cut/deface it in anyway. The timing chip is attached to the back of your number and is detected when you cross the start and the finish. Please do not run around the outside of the mat area or your time will not be recorded.
Please also take the time to fill in your emergency contact details on the reverse of the number prior to running, in the unfortunate event of an emergency, these can help medics to treat you swiftly and appropriately.
Please DO NOT run in someone else’s number as it is against UKA rules, it can cause problems with the results and could also cause a lot of distress should there be an incident and the wrong family is contacted.
TRANSFERS
If you can no longer make the race and wish to transfer your entry to someone else, you can do this by clicking THIS LINK
Transfers are free of charge and any monies transferring hands needs to be a direct agreement between the two parties. If you transfer your number after collecting it from our store, then please note you will need to give the number to the person you have transferred it to. Please be very careful if buying or selling an entry on social media as sadly some scams do occur.
VIRTUAL RACE OPTION
If you would prefer to run the Tatton Yule Yomp virtually, we have created a virtual option to allow you to still get involved, run virtually and earn yourself our iconic medal!
To opt for the virtual race please click THIS LINK. As well as the option to transfer to another person, there will also be an option to transfer to the Virtual race.
PLEASE NOTE: If you take the option to transfer into the virtual race, you will NOT have an entry to run the 2025 Tatton Yule Yomp. This virtual option is INSTEAD of joining us on race day.

OFFICIAL RACE CHARITY
Our official race charity partner is MOVE charity. Gemma Hillier-Moses was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 24 in 2012 and founded MOVE Charity in 2016 to provide people with support that she never received. Gemma's main focus is to support and inspire people to Move Against Cancer.
Gemma is hugely passionate about the benefits of exercise/movement, both physically and mentally, when living with and beyond cancer.
Move Against Cancer's key areas of work are:
Online 8 week virtual support Programme
Designed for anyone aged 13-30 diagnosed with cancer.
5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer Groups
A community-based initiative to encourage those living with and beyond cancer, their families and friends, and those working in cancer services to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at a local 5K Your Way group at designated parkrun events on the last Saturday of every month.
Move Your Way Resources include: Blogs, Move Your Way sessions, Inspirational Q&A's, Educational Q&A's, Workshops, Move Against Cancer Podcast, Resources We Love.
