Barclays Knutsford 10K Residents Leaflet

Dear Resident,

On Sunday 1st October 2023 at 9:30am Run North West will be hosting the Knutsford 10K road running race.  Barclays - Radbroke technology campus, have very kindly given us the use of their car parks and facilities, this will be Race HQ and the start/finish for the race.

For the safety of the runners the official legal road closure is between 9:00am-12:00noon, but we will operate a rolling system meaning that the road closures will vary and be less than this stated duration. Our aim is to allow most residents access to the A537 as soon as it is safe. When the last runners have cleared key junctions, roads will be reopened to minimise the  impact on your morning.  As the race starts at 9.30am, we anticipate the leaders will be finished by just after 10am.  The last runner should finish approx. 11.15am - so Stocks Lane would be closed between approximately 9.15am - 11.15am.  However the rest of the course will have a shorter road closure which can be seen in the table below.

If you need to leave your house by vehicle during this time duration, might we suggest moving your vehicle before the road closures are in place.

Roads closed:

The race will turn left out of Barclays - Radbroke technology campus heading along Stocks Lane. It will then do a clockwise loop around Chelford Lane, Pepper Street, Common Lane, Mill Lane, Boundary Lane and Grotto Lane, re-joining Stocks Lane to return to Barclays - Radbroke technology campus where the race will finish.
