Barclays Knutsford 10K Resident Letter 2025
Dear Community,
On Sunday 28th September 2025 at 09:30, Run North West will be hosting the Barclays Knutsford 10K road running race. Barclays Radbroke Technology Centre, have very kindly given us the use of their car parks and facilities, this will be Race HQ and the start/finish for the race.
For the safety of the runners the official legal road closure is between 08:30 - 12:30, but we will operate a rolling system meaning that the road closures will vary and be less than the above duration.
Our aim is to allow most residents and businesses access to and from the A537 as soon as it is safe. When the last runners have cleared key junctions, roads will be reopened to minimise the impact on your morning. As the race starts at 09.30, we anticipate the last runner should finish by 11.15. For example, Stocks Lane would be closed between approximately 09.00 - 11.15. However, the rest of the course will have a shorter road closure which can be seen in the table below.
If you need to leave your house by vehicle during this time, might we suggest relocating your vehicle before the road closures are in place.
The race will turn left out of Barclays Radbroke Technology Centre heading along Stocks Lane. It will then do a clockwise loop around Chelford Lane, Pepper Street, Common Lane, Mill Lane, Boundary Lane and Grotto Lane, re-joining Stocks Lane to return to Barclays Radbroke Technology Centre where the race will finish.
