Run North West are delighted to announce the Quarry Bank Trail is now 10K! Path improvement works mean we have permission to add the one mile loop to extend this fabulous course and the new section is flat!
The race is a 1-lap course and approximately 10km long within the National Trust grounds of Quarry Bank Mill and the surrounding village.
Whether you’re looking for a new challenge or a sociable jog in the fresh countryside air, join us and enjoy a trail race with undulating terrain, trail, grass, tarmac, gravel and steps!
Please note this is the only Quarry Bank Race in 2023 - enter early to avoid disappointment!

Course
The race is one lap course of approximately 10K within the beautiful grounds of Quarry Bank Mill, the surrounding village, styal woods and an amazing section adjacent to the airport runway! The course starts and finishes at Quarry bank and consists of undulating terrain, trail, grass, tarmac, gravel and steps!
Closing Date
We will close entries as soon as we reach our limit or on Midnight the night before the race.
When the race sells out, we do not operate an official waiting list for this event, nor will there be any entries on the day. Please enter ASAP to avoid disappointment.
Eco Water
In a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we have introduced a bring your own water bottle (pre-filled) to place at the finish area for the end of the race. The finish area is the same point as the start and the tables will be clearly labelled. Completely optional, but every person who brings their own bottle of water is helping to save the planet one small step at a time.

Results are available immediately on Nifty entries.

Transfers
Transfers can take place until Midnight the night before the race. It is imperative that you do NOT give your number to someone else.

Public Transport
The closest train stations/tram stop (on foot) to Race HQ is Styal (0.5 miles) and Wilmslow (1.9 miles).

Where possible please car share 🚗 to ease congestion, traffic and help save the environment 🌍!
There is ample FREE parking within Quarry Bank Mill, please follow the directions of the marshals when you arrive. The race booklet will have the instructions on what to do on arrival to Quarry Bank Mill.
