Run the bypass – fully closed to traffic – with entertainment along the way.
Ran on smooth tarmac, the race is an out and back with the peace and tranquillity of a fully closed road broken only by our live bands every 1K!!The bypass is surrounded by Cheshire countryside and farmland. With just the one turnaround and then it’s good straight road all the way out and back with gentle undulation along the way, this course produces personal bests every year.The race starts at Alderley Park North and heads to the Melrose Way section of the A34 bypass, turning around at the Melrose Way/Pendleton Way roundabout and returning to finish. The course has only a little undulation for PB hunters, with entertainment at every kilometre and a fun filled Race Village – a fun day for all the family!
The race is licenced by UKA race licence.
Numbers will be available for advanced collection from our store in the 3 weeks leading up to the race, and also available to collect on the day at Race HQ – collection dates will be announced on social media. On the day instructions/the Race Booklet will be emailed to you in the month leading up to the event which will contain full information about the number collection process.

COURSEThe Alderley Edge Bypass 10k offers a unique chance to run through the heart of the Cheshire countryside offering views of the surrounding area on our fully closed bypass. Experience live music and entertainment along the way to sing and dance your way to a personal best.This race is ran on fully closed roads. The course has been measured and is certified to be an accurate 10K course | course number 16/228.

RACE HQ: The Conference Centre, Alderley Park
Please head to the Alderley Park North Entrance situated on Congleton Road, SK10 4TG. There will be marshals directing you to parking in the Mereside carpark and race HQ will be at the Conference Centre.
Join us at The Churchill Tree for post-race food and drinks
We’re excited to welcome Run North West 10K participants, the pub will provide a well deserved pint and delicious runners menu. You will be able to choose from a combination of salads, burgers and kebabs.
The courtyard area under the stretch tent, will be available for runners of the race.
If you would like to experience the full menu, it is advised to book a table.
Presentations will take place straight after the race for top 3 male and female finishers based on gun times. Vet prizes will be sent out in the post and based on chip times.
All prizes are equal for male and females, they will be awarded to the top 3 finishers as well as the first Vet in all age groups from V35 to V80+ in 5-year increments plus the first U20 (one prize per individual, male and female).

The race booklet will have the instructions on what to do on arrival to Alderley Park.

Our chosen charity is Millie’s Trust 🦒❤. 100% of the proceeds from the Family Fun Run, will go to the charity!Entries are £7.50 per person and include a Family Fun Run medal to all finishers. Family Fun Run numbers are collection on the day only. The Family Fun Run will start as soon as the main 10K event has set off.
Minimum age 4 years old, children who are unable to manage the run safely on their own without assistance, must be accompanied by an adult.

ECO WATER 🥤In a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint ♻ and do our bit to save the planet 🌍, we have introduced a bring your own water bottle (pre-filled) to place at the finish area for the end of the race. Completely optional, but every person who brings their own bottle of water is helping to save the planet one small step at a time. Bottled water will be provided, as usual, for anyone who doesn’t bring their own. We do use a responsible supplier for our water (as well as being ZERO to landfill), their bottles are made out of 51% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable.
