Thank you for joining us at our first ever trail race! Quarry Bank proved to be the perfect venue for a late Summer run in the countryside. We hope you all enjoyed the event and are feeling proud of your achievements and your DOMS aren’t too bad today!
Your feedback has been fantastic to read and we loved the whole community feeling around the event. If you enjoyed running with us tonight why not consider signing up for the Southport Seaside 10k on Sunday 23rd September or the Wilmslow Festive 10k on Sunday 25th November, our traditional Christmas curtain raiser!
Race results are available here and free race photographs are now available via Bryan Dale here with a selection of images also available here. Don’t forget to share them along with your own on social media using the hashtag #QuarryBankTrailRace and we’ll share the best ones!
A huge well done to everyone of our amazing competitors who took on the challenge of the gruelling steps and made light work of the undulating terrain. It was great to see a range of runners from local running clubs, run groups and unattached runners taking part. We also had a number of first time runners joining us and we hope you all enjoyed your experience and we look forward to seeing you at another event soon.
We’d like to thank our brilliant event volunteers who gave up their evening to help marshal and offer encouragement to runners and especially to Andy Dodd and his team at Wilmslow Striders who helped support the event. As a thank you £1 of your race entry will be donated to the National Trust for allowing us use of the venue and also to support on going conservation work.
