Out of the thousands of runners taking part in the Wilmslow Festive 10k there are hundreds of reasons why people lace up their trainers and line up on the start line. Happy, sad, funny, inspiring– each and every reason is as powerful and personal as the next.
Duncan McCombe is just one of those inspirational runners joining us on Sunday 26th November with an incredible story to share.
Duncan aims to raise £10,000 in just 10-months for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, by taking part in 28 challenges. The number 10 represents 10 years since he was treated for a brain tumour and 28 represents every day he spent in the hospital at the time.
Wilmslow 10k is just one of the challenges Duncan has signed up for, and he welcomes challenges from others! To read more about Duncan and to donate you can visit his Just Giving Page here.
